I’m David Bennett, and I write DashcamHQ from Australia. Dashcams interest me, and I’m not going to dress that up as anything bigger. I hold no certifications, and I haven’t tested the products on this site.

• Specs, explained. What the numbers on a spec sheet mean for a driver here.
• Australian rules. State and territory differences on windscreen mounting and audio recording, linked to the official source wherever I can.
• Buying guides. Who a camera suits and who should skip it, based on published specifications and the retailer’s return terms.

I check every article against manufacturer documentation and official Australian sources before it goes live. I write, read and edit each page myself. When something changes, I update the page and show the date I last revised it.
